Đặt mua một cặp nhãn cầu được lấy từ một người còn sống, còn đang thở còn dễ hơn là lập một tài khoản Instagram ở đất nước Trung Quốc cộng sản.<\/p>\n

Hệ thống cấy ghép nội tạng do nhà nước điều hành của Trung Quốc hoạt động tại các bệnh viện trong một chiến dịch đẫm máu và có sự phối hợp nhằm tàn sát chính công dân của mình, và chiến dịch này phải chấm dứt, nếu không Hoa Kỳ phải ngừng hợp tác với Trung Quốc — đơn giản như vậy thôi.<\/p>\n

Bệnh nhân đang tìm kiếm một hoặc hai quả thận mới có thể lên lịch ghép thận theo yêu cầu, đôi khi thậm chí là trước nhiều tuần. Một nhóm tù nhân còn sống với trái tim đang đập khỏe mạnh sẽ trở thành nguồn cung cấp. Nếu không có biện pháp gây mê, thì việc lấy đi những nội tạng quan trọng bằng phương pháp phẫu thuật là một hình thức tra tấn ở mức độ tàn ác nhất. Hành vi này là một tội ác phản nhân loại, gần như quá vô nhân tính và rõ ràng đến mức người ta có thể tin rằng nó thực sự có thể đang xảy ra chỉ cách chúng ta một đại dương.<\/p>\n

Học viên Pháp Luân Công<\/a>, một nhóm tôn giáo thiểu số ở Trung Quốc, không thể tưởng tượng được nỗi kinh hoàng của nạn cưỡng bức mổ cướp nội tạng. Họ sống trong nỗi kinh hoàng đó. Họ bị chính quyền Bắc Kinh nhắm đến không vì tội gì khác ngoài việc thực hành đức tin của mình và là một nhóm tín ngưỡng thiểu số ôn hòa trong một xứ cộng sản cằn cỗi.<\/p>\n

Như một minh chứng cho quy mô của những tội ác dã man đang diễn ra, cho đến nay Đảng Cộng sản Trung Quốc (ĐCSTQ) vẫn không duy trì hệ thống tình nguyện hiến tặng nội tạng như Hoa Kỳ. Có lẽ là vì hoạt động cưỡng bức mổ lấy nội tạng quá phổ biến và trở thành bình thường, nên ĐCSTQ thấy không cần thiết để duy trì hệ thống đó.<\/p>\n

Đạo luật lưỡng đảng Bảo vệ Pháp Luân Công<\/a> do tôi chủ trì (H.R. 1540), vừa được Hạ viện thông qua, có những bước cụ thể để chấm dứt sự tàn bạo này. Đối diện với tà ác chúng ta phải thể hiện thái độ rõ ràng, chứ không phải cứ thận trọng dè dặt. Việc chấm dứt hợp tác với ĐCSTQ phải là chính sách của Hoa Kỳ. Hoa Kỳ phải lãnh đạo các quốc gia văn minh khác trong việc áp đặt các biện pháp trừng phạt đối với hành vi tạo điều kiện hoặc là tham gia vào các cuộc hành quyết đã được lên lịch cho việc cưỡng bức mổ cướp nội tạng. Dự luật do tôi chủ trì cũng quy định cho Ngoại trưởng Mỹ đánh giá liệu các hành vi của ĐCSTQ có đúng với định nghĩa pháp lý về tội diệt chủng hoặc tội ác phản nhân loại hay không, và yêu cầu báo cáo toàn diện về ngành cấy ghép nội tạng của Trung Quốc. Là đối tác thương mại chính của Trung Quốc, người Mỹ có quyền được biết cách thức mổ lấy nội tạng ở đó về số lượng, và từ ai.<\/p>\n

Nhờ niềm tin vững chắc của tôi vào quyền được tôn trọng phẩm giá của tất cả mọi người, dự luật này đã được lấy cảm hứng từ nhiều năm làm việc với các thành viên của cộng đồng Pháp Luân Công<\/a> và nhiều nhà bất đồng chính kiến Trung Quốc khác, những người đã bị đàn áp liên tục — và khủng khiếp — đơn giản chỉ vì thực hiện quyền thực hành đức tin của mình một cách ôn hòa.<\/p>\n

Là thành viên đầu tiên của Quốc hội trực tiếp đối đầu với chiến dịch của ĐCSTQ nhằm chống lại các học viên Pháp Luân Công<\/a> và nạn cưỡng bức mổ cướp nội tạng, tôi rất khiêm nhường khi được đứng lên bảo vệ họ và các quyền cơ bản của họ với tư cách cùng là con người với nhau – ít nhất là không bị đối xử giống như phụ tùng ô tô dự phòng.<\/p>\n

Những gì mà chính quyền Trung Quốc làm với chính công dân của họ thực sự gây chấn động đến lương tri. Đây là một trong những hành vi vi phạm nhân quyền phải được đưa ra ánh sáng nếu Hoa Kỳ chuẩn bị tiếp tục làm ăn với Trung Quốc.<\/p>\n

Giờ đây tôi kêu gọi Thượng viện hãy thông qua dự luật của tôi để Tổng thống Donald Trump ký và ban hành — không nên trì hoãn. Những người phải chịu đựng sự lăng nhục và nỗi kinh hoàng này chẳng còn thời gian nữa để mà lãng phí.<\/p>\n
