[ChanhKien.org]<\/strong> Theo một bài nghiên cứu mới xuất hiện trên Tạp chí Y học Anh (New England Journal of Medicine) gần đây, tập thể dục đều đặn hàng tuần giúp làm giảm lượng cholesterol lipoprotein<\/em> mật độ thấp, và cùng lúc đó, gia tăng lượng cholesterol lipoprotein<\/em> mật độ cao, nhờ đó giảm nguy cơ mắc bệnh tim [1]. Đáng ngạc nhiên hơn, mức độ hiệu quả của tập thể dục trong việc giảm tỷ lệ mắc bệnh tim là 58%, cao hơn rất nhiều tỷ lệ 31% đạt được thông qua sử dụng thuốc Metformin<\/em> [2]. Điều này minh chứng rằng các bài tập thể dục có thể còn hiệu quả hơn cả thuốc trong việc làm giảm nguy cơ mắc các bệnh tim thường gặp.<\/p>\n

Và rồi, “liệu pháp” tập thể dục có giống như thuốc hay không? Rõ ràng hai điều này là hoàn toàn khác nhau. Các bài tập thể dục là những động tác vận động cơ thể, trong khi thuốc chỉ là các chất hóa học. Thực ra, từ “thuốc” mà chúng ta hay dùng được mô tả đúng hơn bằng cụm từ “liệu pháp”. Theo các nghiên cứu sinh học và y học Tây phương đương đại, “thuốc” thuộc vào phạm trù “liệu pháp hóa học”. Ngoài liệu pháp hóa học ra, còn có liệu pháp vật lý, liệu pháp thực phẩm, liệu pháp tâm lý, liệu pháp thể dục, v.v. Một trong những chủ đề nghiên cứu phổ biến nhất trong giới y học Tây phương hiện này là “thuốc thay thế”. Nó bao gồm nhiều phương pháp chữa bệnh truyền thống Trung Quốc, ví dụ châm cứu, xoa bóp, thảo dược, và khí công (chẳng hạn Pháp Luân Công<\/a>). Khi con người dần hiểu được tầm quan trọng của việc phòng bệnh, thì những phương pháp trị liệu này—vốn đã được sử dụng từ lâu để cải thiện lối sống của con người nhằm giảm nguy cơ mắc bệnh—cũng trở nên phổ biến. Không còn khó hiểu nữa khi một căn bệnh có thể được cứu chữa mà không cần dùng thuốc Tây.<\/p>\n
